The Idols aren’t a joke either, they’ve got some serious firepower and specialists, who are all more than capable of holding their own against the player and can definitely be the cause of some frustrations. The big bad bosses of the Idols are the collective members, a group of mysterious ringmasters donned with digital faceplates, hellbent on bringing down the corrupt society they see before them.

Idol Collective Member Locations

As part of the Saints Row quest line to conquer all of Santo Ileso, players will be attempting to take down all other gangs and place themselves at the top of the food chain. This means taking down all the other gangs and their respective leaders, and for the Idols, it’s the Collective Members.

Idol Collective Members 1 - 4

Luckily for players, most of the Idol Collective Members are found throughout story missions of Saints Row and are pretty hard to miss. With their distinctive masks, the Collective Members are quite tanky and serve as a form of mini-boss in the missions. The four collective members can be found in missions:

Story Mission 7: Be Your Own Boss contains the first Idol Collective Member which players will find after rescuing Kevin and Eli. Story Mission 15: Idol Threat contains the second Idol Collective Member, found at the end of the mission on a helicopter. Story Mission 28: Going Overboard has the third and fourth Idol Collective Members, which are found on the rooftop near the end of the mission.

Idol Collective Member 5

This Idol Collective Member can only be found as a Threat in the Old Town West area. In order for this collective member to appear, players must build at least one venture in Old Town West, it doesn’t matter which one the player builds as long as there is one. Once a venture is built, it will spawn the Idol Collective Member as a threat in the region. Players can then head over and take them out to collect their 5th takedown.

Idol Collective Member 6

The final Idol Collective Member can be found in the Wanted Side Mission Litterbugs. Players can start this mission via the Wanted App on their phones. Players will need to undertake this side mission and kill the Collective Member at the end to ensure their 6th and final takedown.

Taking down every collective member will grant the player “The Collective” challenge, which rewards 1125 experience points and a new perk. This is a challenge that is relatively easy to do for players looking to grab new perks, as most of the Idol Collective Members can be found in the main story. The others are pretty easily accessed once players progress far enough into the game, making it a good challenge for players who are looking to get every perk possible.
