Forced with a fourth-and-9 on their own 41-yard line, the Saints had Thomas Morstead fake an end around and roll out to the right for a pass. Dallas covered it completely, and instead of throwing the ball away, Morstead kept the ball and took a sack.
Up until that point, the Saints had regained momentum, scoring on each of their last two drives.
Dallas promptly used the opportunity to score on the ensuring drive, making it 38-17 with the Cowboys in the lead.
